JOB DESCRIPTION:
Entry level client serving position for individuals with limited counseling skills and/or experience. Involves responsibility for the health, safety and security of clients assigned. Involves transportation of clients in an approved agency vehicle. Under appropriate supervision, may provide information and education to clients in a group setting. Provides 24-hour coverage during assigned shift.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma, some college preferred.
One year experience in treatment, counseling education or related field preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Current Florida driver's license (Class D).
Must be cleared by PAR auto insurance carrier to operate PAR vehicles.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Must pass background and fingerprinting checks.
HIV/AIDS training required every two years.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
- Able to perform moderate lifting.
Requires bending and stooping.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Possible exposure to verbal abuse and similar behavior.
